Weekend Retreat

Explore the powers that are the source of our well-being, powers that come from inside the self and are of long term benefit: love, happiness, forgiveness, and silence. Unconditional love opens new and unlimited horizons.
In this retreat we will explore the huge benefits of learning to be kind to myself. There will be sharing on the topics, conversations, writing, reflection, meditation, creative expression and lots of fun.
Topics covered:

Facilitator: Dr. Prashant Kakoday, has spent the last 18 years understanding and teaching holistic principles of life, health and consciousness. The past eleven years, his research and interest has been in the areas of attitudes, emotions, stress and health. 'The concept of Total Health' was presented to the World Health Organization in 1994. He has spoken at various national and international health conferences and has given talks and programs in more than 60 countries including United Nations in Geneva. He is an ENT Surgeon and the Director of the Center for Integral Health in Cambridge, UK.

Weekend Retreat

Happiness is an experience we all certainly desire, seek and aspire to, yet, it is an experience that seems often illusive and a rare commodity in a demanding and often negative world. In our retreat, we will explore how we can make happiness more accessible and a more permanent feature in our lives.
We will reveal the illusions that obstruct my path to happiness and understand how to build my road to happiness with seven basic steps. Through meditation we will learn how to harness the deep beauty of the inner self, empowering our self confidence, which helps us make sense of our lives.
Facilitator: Jim Ryan is a an educationalist, a personal development trainer and an author of several books on spiritual development and meditation. He lectures extensively conducting seminars and workshops on meditation, positive thinking and spiritual philosophy. His presentations are a blend of humor, lightness, in-depth philosophy and practical up-to-date strategies.

Veena Kapoor has an EdD from University of San Francisco and a Masters in Social Work. She has worked as a social worker for 20 years, and has 14 years teaching experience in Social Work and Women’s Studies. Veena has been a teacher and student of Raja Yoga Meditation for 16 years.
Elizabeth Padilla has been studying and teaching Raja Yoga Meditation for 24 years. For 17 years she has facilitated many seminars, workshops and value based programs. Elizabeth is a talented singer and accomplished performing artist.
