Weekend Retreat
Friday, 6:00 pm to Sunday, 4:00 pm
Power is energy with a purpose
Each one of us is energy, and our energy is for use. When we use it in a purposeful and focused way we are powerful and empowered. Unfortunately we were not taught to stand in our power, and to use our power in the right way. In fact, most of us learn the opposite. We learned that power is force. We learned that you have to force your way to the top, force others to do what you want, force your self to change. But force drains our power, simply because within the intention to force there is resistance to what is, to the way things are, to the way other people behave.
The purpose of this weekend retreat on empowering the self:

Day Retreat
10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Most everyone has anger inside that is expressed, either inwardly or outwardly. Why express it at the cost of harming the self and others?
In this day retreat, we will explore what causes anger, how to interrupt the pattern of anger, and how to transform angry thoughts into positive and productive thoughts. The participants will learn many methods to diffuse anger practically instead of expressing anger, and experience transformation in themselves through many activities and exercises.
Facilitator: Kyoko Kimura, BA in Music Education and MA in flute performance. She teaches music, meditation and Living Values to people of all ages.
