Diane Tillman is a former School Psychologist, Licensed Educational Psychologist, MFT and the primary author of the award-winning Living Values Series of books, newly revised. Her most recent book is “Nurturing with Love and Wisdom, Disciplining with Peace and Respect: A mindful guide to parenting”.

Annie Jorgensen, M.S. in Educational Counseling, is an LVE Facilitator and a retired primary teacher and special education teacher who taught LVE for over 10 years, with stellar results. She is a wealth of experience and grounded in her years of experience working with people of all ages.

Kyoko Kimura, BA in Music Education and MA in flute performance. She facilitates workshops and retreats on virtues, Positive Thinking, Stress Free Living, Inner Beauty, Inner Bliss and Self-Empowerment. She also teaches values lessons through music at public schools in San Francisco, and facilitates summer camps for children and adolescents in the greater Bay Area.

Journey inside moving life energy. Increase flexibility, relaxation, balance and concentration. Strengthen and enliven the body and spirit. Bring the inner smile out. Experience meditation in motion. Open to all levels. We warmup with Qigong and then transition to the Yang style long form Tai Chi set.

We will meet outside weather permitting, so please bring hat, sunglasses, windbreaker, gloves, etc.

Instructor, Fern Jeffcoat has taught Qigong and Tai Chi since 1993. She also practices and teaches Raja Yoga meditation. Fern combines movement, breathing and meditation to facilitate the integration of soul and body, which helps to ease into a state of health and wellness.

Many of us are carrying a lot of internal grief from the past that it stops us from letting go and moving on. It may even be from so far in the distant past that we no longer know it is there as we have become so accustomed to living with it that it has become ‘comfortable’. There is, though, an underlying feeling of fear, a need to defend ourselves, and to not let love in, as love makes us feel vulnerable. Love isn’t just love, it is a multi-faceted jewel. Growing up we soon learn to be less innocent and trusting as we are rebuffed. Fear and the feeling that we need to protect ourselves grow. We put up defenses to protect ourselves; these separate us from each other and we lose sense of who we are. In connecting our minds and hearts to spirit and soul and laying down our defenses we re-connect to our innocence and purity within.

Does intuition exist? What is it? How can we strengthen it? There is the physical world we perceive through our five senses and there is our inner world of thoughts, feelings and hopes. It is the same with intuition, it is just that it has not been listened to and has become silent with lack of use. We may even have been educated out of using it or discouraged from following it on the grounds that it is unreliable. Journey inside moving life energy. Increase flexibility, relaxation, balance and concentration. Strengthen and enliven the body and spirit. Bring the inner smile out. Experience meditation in motion. Open to all levels. We warmup with Qigong and then transition to the Yang style long form Tai Chi set.

We will meet outside weather permitting, so please bring hat, sunglasses, windbreaker, gloves, etc.

Instructor, Fern Jeffcoat has taught Qigong and Tai Chi since 1993. She also practices and teaches Raja Yoga meditation. Fern combines movement, breathing and meditation to facilitate the integration of soul and body, which helps to ease into a state of health and wellness.

What is holding you back from stepping into your potential? To return to wholeness and well being we need to look beneath the symptoms and discover the cause. The cause? Not knowing who we truly are; when we don’t know who we are there is fear; then we are flooded with negative feelings that give rise to ill health, physically and mentally.
Its time to live in the truth of who you are. Live on purpose. To express your own divine essense; the combination of inner qualities that is uniquely you and that are expressed and shared in a way that is yours.
 
In this day retreat we will:
  • Rediscover that everything we need is already within us. It’s time to talk about what is possible. We have the healing energies of peace, love, power, wisdom and happiness.
  • Create thoughts and feelings that are in harmony with the qualities and values of your inner self. In this light we can see how our stress, anxiety and illness is in fact a signal to ourselves that we have taken a wrong turn. Recognize these signals as your opportunity to get back on the right road.  
  • Develop Clarity with somatic breath work to support you in achieving a greater sense of self-awareness and capacity for healing. It also helps you to work toward overall improvement in mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
  • Experience a Divine Connection to the Unlimited Source of peace, love and truth. We get drained from the influence of all the negativity around us. It’s time to lay it down and connect within. The more we can keep focused on God the more we become filled with positivity and the less influenced we become by negativity.
Facilitators: Linda Welch and Elizabeth Padilla
Linda Welch has a Masters of Divinity from Boston University School of Theology. She spent many years in social service, politics and business before coming full circle and beginning a spiritual mentorship practice. The catalyst for this evolution was Clarity Breathwork and a deep yearning to surrender to the Divine. Through this work, she has come to trust that God will show her the way - no matter what the challenge. (Not always easy, but the deep inner peace that comes from living this way is so worth it!)
In addition to her spiritual mentoring and breathwork practice, she has a consulting business where she helps business owners discover how to have more impact in the world by focusing on who they need to BE in order to implement the strategies needed for personal and business success. Linda provides a safe environment for her clients to heal the wounds that keep them from living an expanded life with a strong connection to Divine Source. 
 
Elizabeth Padilla has been studying and teaching Raja Yoga Meditation since 1985. She has facilitated many seminars, workshops and value based programs, and is the program director at Anubhuti. Elizabeth is a talented singer and accomplished performing artist who touches hearts and souls through her work.

Rammohan Rao, PhD in Biochemistry and Neurosciences, Ram has more than 15 years of research and teaching experience in Neuroscience and has published more than 50 peer reviewed papers in scientific journals and text book chapters. He went to CCA and received his certification as Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist. He serves as a faculty at the California College of Ayurveda and teaches in their Nevada city location. Ram is also a dedicated Hatha yoga practitioner and is a RYT. Ram has published several articles in major Yoga/Ayurveda journals and a featured speaker in several meetings and symposia. He is a member of the NAMA, member of the AAPNA and Science Editor of Ayurveda Journal of Health.

Padma Rao is an Information Technology Professional. She has been practicing Pranic Healing since 2008. Padma is also a Hatha yoga practitioner with an active Meditation practice. Padma offers her services to the community by facilitating Free Pranic Healing Clinic at the Anubhuti Retreat Center. Additionally, in her spare time and together with Ram, she offers consultations in Meditation, pranic healing and Pranayama techniques.

But don’t you find that the more you try to control, the more out of control you feel? Don’t you also find that so much of what holds you back from thriving is your inability to ‘let go’? Let go of what hurts and hold on to what heals. Let go of what you can’t control and focus on what you can. It’s not a new idea, and its only two simple words – why then is it so difficult to let go? Join us for tips on this difficult art and how to make it a little easier!

Facilitator: Harsha Palli, B.Tech, has an M.S in Computer Engineering, is an IT Architect, and has practiced Raja yoga meditation since 2005. He resides at our San Francisco center and facilitates classes and retreats at Anubhuti.
