Open to all levels. We warmup with Qigong and then transition to the Yang style long form Tai Chi set.

We will meet outside weather permitting, so please bring hat, sunglasses, windbreaker, etc.

Instructor, Fern Jeffcoat has taught Qigong and Tai Chi since 1993. She also practices and teaches Raja Yoga meditation. Fern combines movement, breathing and meditation to facilitate the integration of soul and body, which helps to ease into a state of health and wellness.

Vaishali Jogi, MComm in management, professional account manager. Spirituality and the joy of sharing goodness have always been Vaishali’s passion. In her teenage years, she used to gather slum area kids and teach them the essentials of good living. Since pursuing a career as an MBA (finance) for the last twenty years, she has been offering meditation sessions, self-development workshops, yogic cooking and meditative dance movement classes to people of various faiths and professions at multiple locations in India and USA including City College of San Francisco where she serves as a principal accountant. Her life’s inspiration is “Always wear the perfume of love and peace and the world gets served wherever you are.”

Elizabeth Padilla is a meditation teacher and practitioner with over 30 years of experience with raja yoga. She lives at Anubhuti, where she manages the programming and retreats. She also leads the Brahma Kumaris’ environmental initiative in the U.S. Elizabeth has graced dozens of Bay Area interfaith programs as a performer, teacher, and activist, has held staff positions at the San Francisco Interfaith Council and served on the Board of the Marin Interfaith Council. She is a gifted actor and singer trained at the American Conservatory Theatre and is currently touring with a one-woman performance called Songs of My Soul.

Jean has just published a biography about Franca Viola, “The Girl Who Said No: A Search in Sicily". Franca is one of the first "#metoo" heroines of modern times, who refused to go along with a centuries-old forcible marriage custom, and endured public taunting and Mafia orchestrated bullying as a result. Learning how to develop a closer relationship with the Divine is likewise included as a means of increasing one's stock of stability and power to face life's challenges.

  • Learn techniques to create balance & harmony in relationships without losing yourself

Special Guest Facilitator: Denise Lawrence, has a deep understanding of spiritual knowledge and practice drawn from 40 years of studying and teaching Raja Yoga meditation. She coordinates the International Communications Centre at the Brahma Kumaris headquarters in Mount Abu, India, helping to create a series of television programs on topics such as spiritual virtues, the meeting of science and spirituality, and environmental issues. Denise also travels widely sharing her knowledge and experience bringing the work of the Brahma Kumaris to a worldwide audience.
 
Includes shared accommodation with private bath, wholesome and delicious vegetarian meals, and snacks with tea/coffee breaks.

Saturday mornings 10 to 11:30 am

Journey inside moving life energy. Increase flexibility, relaxation, balance and concentration. Strengthen and enliven the body and spirit. Bring the inner smile out. Experience meditation in motion. Open to all levels. We warmup with Qigong and then transition to the Yang style long form Tai Chi set.

We will meet outside weather permitting, so please bring hat, sunglasses, windbreaker, etc.

Instructor, Fern Jeffcoat has taught Qigong and Tai Chi since 1993. She also practices and teaches Raja Yoga meditation. Fern combines movement, breathing and meditation to facilitate the integration of soul and body, which helps to ease into a state of health and wellness.

Jean has just published a biography about Franca Viola, “The Girl Who Said No: A Search in Sicily". Franca is one of the first "#metoo" heroines of modern times, who refused to go along with a centuries-old forcible marriage custom, and endured public taunting and Mafia orchestrated bullying as a result. June 15: Kiran Mani, is a Managing Director at Google. Kiran has had an interesting career - He is a qualified public accountant and a chartered financial Analyst. Yet, he started his career in advertising and as a radio jockey. And he has bootstrapped & sold a start-up of his own. Through these professional and personal experiences, he has learned, unlearned and relearned the art of managing himself and leading people.
