Saturday mornings 10 to 11:30 am

Journey inside moving life energy. Increase flexibility, relaxation, balance and concentration. Strengthen and enliven the body and spirit. Bring the inner smile out. Experience meditation in motion. Open to all levels. We warmup with Qigong and then transition to the Yang style long form Tai Chi set.

We will meet outside weather permitting, so please bring hat, sunglasses, windbreaker, etc.

Instructor, Fern Jeffcoat has taught Qigong and Tai Chi since 1993. She also practices and teaches Raja Yoga meditation. Fern combines movement, breathing and meditation to facilitate the integration of soul and body, which helps to ease into a state of health and wellness.

Class for new students starts on the date noted. Otherwise, class is on a drop-in basis. Contribution $10. Please check with our staff for details.

Elizabeth Padilla is a meditation teacher and practitioner with over 30 years of experience with raja yoga. She lives at Anubhuti, where she manages the programming and retreats. She also leads the Brahma Kumaris’ environmental initiative in the U.S. Elizabeth has graced dozens of Bay Area interfaith programs as a performer, teacher, and activist, has held staff positions at the San Francisco Interfaith Council and served on the Board of the Marin Interfaith Council. She is a gifted actor and singer trained at the American Conservatory Theatre and is currently touring with a one-woman performance called Songs of My Soul.

Annie Jorgensen, M.S. in Educational Counseling, is an LVE Facilitator and a retired primary teacher and special education teacher who taught LVE for over 10 years, with stellar results. She is a wealth of experience and grounded in her years of experience working with people of all ages. Annie has been practicing Rajayoga meditation since 2006.

Janardhan Chodagam was a techie by day and meditation trainer by nights and weekends. As a student of the Brahma Kumaris for almost two decades, his research of meditation techniques led him to become a proponent of awareness training for people of all ages and backgrounds to identify their purpose and enhance their sense of self-worth. Janardhan co-produces the annual SPIRIT Summit in India and Peace in the Park festival in San Francisco. He also regularly conducts workshops and seminars at companies, schools, hospitals and prisons in the Bay Area.

Elizabeth Padilla is a meditation teacher and practitioner with over 30 years of experience with raja yoga. She lives at Anubhuti, where she manages the programming and retreats. She also leads the Brahma Kumaris’ environmental initiative in the U.S. Elizabeth has graced dozens of Bay Area interfaith programs as a performer, teacher, and activist, has held staff positions at the San Francisco Interfaith Council and served on the Board of the Marin Interfaith Council. She is a gifted actor and singer trained at the American Conservatory Theatre and is currently touring with a one-woman performance called Songs of My Soul.

Annie Jorgensen, M.S. in Educational Counseling, is an LVE Facilitator and a retired primary teacher and special education teacher who taught LVE for over 10 years, with stellar results. She is a wealth of experience and grounded in her years of experience working with people of all ages. Annie has been practicing Rajayoga meditation since 2006.

Janardhan Chodagam was a techie by day and meditation trainer by nights and weekends. As a student of the Brahma Kumaris for almost two decades, his research of meditation techniques led him to become a proponent of awareness training for people of all ages and backgrounds to identify their purpose and enhance their sense of self-worth. Janardhan co-produces the annual SPIRIT Summit in India and Peace in the Park festival in San Francisco. He also regularly conducts workshops and seminars at companies, schools, hospitals and prisons in the Bay Area.

What is the difference between belief and truth? In this series of Being Beyond Belief, we will examine how certain beliefs get in the way of the truth.

Beyond Belief: Conclusion

You have been conditioned to believe ‘all things come to an end’. But do they really? It’s highly unlikely. Just notice how we have a tendency to rush towards conclusions. There is the belief that there must be a last moment, a final scene, a dramatic climactic crescendo, then a descent into a silence that signals…the end. Does anything ever end? Come and learn for yourself.

Raja Yoga Meditation is an exploration of the nature and qualities of the soul and the divine. Moving from theory, to practice, to experience, the student ’s original qualities of deep peace, pure love, and inner power are awakened and cultivated. Students may wish to practice Raja Yoga simply to bring more clarity, peace and positivity into their lives, or they can move to more advanced courses and practice, which provide a foundation for profound self transformation and world service.

Would you like your spiritual foundation of peace and power to broaden and grow? To understand the secrets of consciousness and the spirit is to gain an inner peace that is a source of power. Not power over someone but power of the self in order to remain stable in the many challenges of our lives. This consciousness involves spiritual knowledge, meditation and positive action. It is both the journey and the destination and in its simplicity reveals the treasures of the spirit.

  •     Meditation. Learn to calm and focus the mind in a positive direction.
  •     Learn spiritual truths to enhance your life and of those around you.
  •     Develop a clear understanding of meditation and spiritual knowledge that you can apply to greatly improve the quality, sense of happiness and inner peace in your life.

Elizabeth Padilla is a meditation teacher and practitioner with over 30 years of experience with raja yoga. She lives at Anubhuti, where she manages the programming and retreats. She also leads the Brahma Kumaris’ environmental initiative in the U.S. Elizabeth has graced dozens of Bay Area interfaith programs as a performer, teacher, and activist, has held staff positions at the San Francisco Interfaith Council and served on the Board of the Marin Interfaith Council. She is a gifted actor and singer trained at the American Conservatory Theatre and is currently touring with a one-woman performance called Songs of My Soul.

Annie Jorgensen, M.S. in Educational Counseling, is an LVE Facilitator and a retired primary teacher and special education teacher who taught LVE for over 10 years, with stellar results. She is a wealth of experience and grounded in her years of experience working with people of all ages. Annie has been practicing Rajayoga meditation since 2006.

Janardhan Chodagam was a techie by day and meditation trainer by nights and weekends. As a student of the Brahma Kumaris for almost two decades, his research of meditation techniques led him to become a proponent of awareness training for people of all ages and backgrounds to identify their purpose and enhance their sense of self-worth. Janardhan co-produces the annual SPIRIT Summit in India and Peace in the Park festival in San Francisco. He also regularly conducts workshops and seminars at companies, schools, hospitals and prisons in the Bay Area.

Includes wholesome and delicious vegetarian lunch and snacks with tea/coffee break

Few realize that to have an opinion about anything is almost a cast iron guarantee that suffering must accompany its expression. Why? Well if you have an opinion about having opinions you may find this workshop somewhat challenging. Come and see for yourself.
