
Essentials of Wellness: Pt 1- Sleep ~ Join Us Online
The World Health Organization constitution states: “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”.
For good health, medical science suggests that we sleep well, eat a balanced diet, and exercise regularly. Despite this awareness, it has been found that over 95% of the world population has health problems, with over a third having more than 5 ailments each.
What may be missing is the spiritual dimension if we serve our bodies well and are still unhealthy. How are we doing at the core of our existence? Are we keeping ourselves healthy?
Spirituality teaches us that when we become healthy, our bodies and our environment become healthy. So let us be aware of spiritual health – as we care for our bodies. We will then move towards complete health.
March 14 Part 1: Sleep – Sleeping is an art; when you master it, you freshen up your life with healthy Control, Creativity, and Cleverness.
March 21 Part 2: Diet – Healthy eating is first taking charge of your mind. Then, as a knowledgeful master, happily feeding your body with what is good for it. No energy is wasted in force feeding and strict diet charts which leads to fighting, fear and feeling defeat.
March 28 Part 3: Exercise – Make your body your best friend (’exercise buddy’) and do your workout with it to enhance the benefit of the physical effort with enthusiasm, easiness and contentment.
